LED Screens at Bingley Music Live 2011

Lightmedia Displays at Bingley Music Live

Chase and Status live at Bingley

Over 60 square metres of modular LED screens ensured that every one of the 16,000 festival audience at Bingley Music Live this year had a perfect view of the stage.

Lightmedia Display's newly commisioned outside broadcast vehicle (OB1) took care of vision mixing, recording to DVCAM tapes, clip playback and graphics. In addition, the extensive input and routing facilities of the unit allowed seamless integration of external video servers and VJ facilities for touring acts including Chase and Status (seen in the picture above) and Stereo MCs.

OB1 represents an expansion of LMD's investment in Broadcast Pix video production systems. In 2010 we purchased a Slate 1000 system to form a compact, yet powerful, flightcased portable production unit (PPU). Following the success of this PPU at many of our more demanding shows, the decision was taken to design and purchase a new outside broadcast vehicle based on the Broadcast Pix Slate 3000. This SDI based facility gives the client up to 18 live inputs and 24 outputs. An extensive range of clip stores, stills stores and graphics generators allows a quality of live programming to be created beyond that of any other LED screen company.
