Case Study - Leuka Mini Masters Charity Golf Tournament
Venue - Dukes Meadows (Chiswick)

A Picture Box with four cameras and vision mixer were supplied for this fabulous new charity Golf Tournament. Teams were entered and then allocated a celebrity player each, which included, Ronan Keating, Jodie Kidd, Gianluca Vialli, James Nesbitt, Johnny Vaughan, to name but a few. Enthusiasm and generosity made this event very special.
The event also lead to Lightmedia supplying the ‘Shotgun Event’ charity golf in aid of Marie Keating, with the Picture Box Screen in Ireland in September 08 which again was a massive success and pleasure to work on.
Lightmedia Displays support many charities throughout the year. Our named charities for the year 2009 are Leuka (who help to support the costs of research into the cause and treatment of leukaemia at the Hammersmith Hospital) and Breakthrough Breast Cancer which supports research into Breast Cancer.
The upshot is that I feel very bad that it has taken me a week to tell you how fantastic you and your Lightmedia team were/are. You and your guys made such a huge difference to the inaugural Leuka Mini Masters - not only because of the fantastic big screen and the superb shots you provided from the course all day but because of the enthusiasm, spirit and generosity all your men showed us in the build-up and on the day itself. I cannot tell you how much it meant to us to be able to get this first event off the ground helped by such a fantastic group of people. Your lads are a real credit to you Eddie and LMD deserves nothing but success. We really hope we can work with you next year when we hope to build on the success of the first Leuka Mini Masters. I also hope that if this novel concept for golf days takes off we might be seeing a bit more of each other. Either way, please stay in touch and please send my very best wishes to all the lads.
